Community Members, Fall into Wellness and Richmond Recovers

This weekend, Carol and Sammy attended the Fall Into Wellness Community Recovery Event and recorded participants talking about what recovery means to them.

Richmond Recovers will be onsite at this year’s Fall Into Wellness Community Event. You are invited to record short spots about recovery, sharing your story and resources.

This fall the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority and the Richmond Behavioral Health Foundation bring their bi-annual, Fall Into Wellness to the community. A family – friendly festival promoting health and wellness for all!  Nonprofits focused on helping the community develop healthy lives will be there.

Activities include – a 5K walk to raise funds to support RBHA programs, a live music stage featuring: Big Mama Shakes, Hotel X, The Shangri-Lords, and Family and Friends- gospel quartet and fun activities for the family.

Come out on October 22, 2017 from 11 – 4. The festival is being held at Newmarket Field on 2nd and East Byrd street (across from the VA War Memorial).

Changing drug use in youth – the Icelandic Model
